The following is a list of updates to the website:

  • 10/10/09 - Registration and Merchandise temporarily removed
  • 09/10/09 - Scroll 12 now full . Scrolls are up to date with those who pre registered . On line registration now removed . The only way to get a year bar is to register on 10/10/09 at Drayton manor before 11:00 . You can still purchase merchandise (not T shirts though) . Total of people pre registering is 3289 (in 2008 it was 1100)
  • 08/10/09 - Scroll 12 updated . Scrolls are up to date with registrations received to 7/10/09 inclusive . For all the latest information please took at Updates 1,2 and 3 . (Latest - Ride to the Wall 2009)
  • 07/10/09 - Scroll 12 updated . Scrolls are up to date with registrations received to 6/10/09 inclusive . For all the latest information please took at Updates 1,2 and 3 . (Latest - Ride to the Wall 2009)
  • 06/10/09 - Scroll 11 now full , Scroll 12 started . Scrolls are up to date with registrations received to 5/10/09 inclusive . We now have over 3000 people pre registered for RTTW 2
  • 05/10/09 - Scroll 11 added . Now up to date to 4/10/09 registrations
  • 04/10/09 - Scroll 9 and 10 added . Now up to date to 2/10/09 registrations
  • 01/10/2009 - Update 2 (with photos ) that was e mailed to all those that pre registered has now been added to Latest- Ride to the Wall 2009 . You can see it by clicking HERE
  • 30/09/2009 - Scrolls now up to date for all registrations received by 28/9. Update 2 being  e mailed  to all those registered . It will be added to the website soon.
  • 27/09/2009 - Scroll 9 added to the website . This is up to date for applications received to 26/9 (inclusive )
  • 24/09/2009 - The first Update of latest information was e mailed to all those I have a valid e mail address for yesterday and today has been added to the website ' Latest Ride to the Wall . Alternatively go HERE
  • 21/09/2009 - For those camping overnight on 9th October a local resident of Fazeley (closest town to Drayton Manor and on the route for Saturdays ride ) has compiled a quick insiders guide on whats where , whats good etc (Pubs / food/ cashpoint/garage etc) .   • 20/09/2009 - Scrolls (7 so far ) now updated to include all those pre registered up to 19/9. There are now over 2100 people registered for RTTW2 . Thats more than we had attend in 2008. Sorry for the delay in updating but my holiday in the States took an unexpected turn when I fell ill. Catch up time now . There will be more updates soon
  • 24/08/2009- The Scroll has been updated for all registrations to 23rd August 2009 . Earlier this month we exceeded the total number of people pre registering for RTTW last year . Total registrations to 15th August is on the scrolling ticker ,main page
  • 04/08/2009 - Update to the scroll made . Scroll 3 is complete and scroll 4 is half full. If you have registered on line before 1st August your name should be on there . Total registrations to 1st August is on the scrolling ticker ,main page
  • 17/07/2009 - At the suggestion of 'kawasakikids' on the Forum to have an idea of how many people had pre registered I have included this on the  ticker on the front page . As of  15/7/09 we have 766 people pre registered . In comparison to  last year , at this exact time, there were 237. A big thank you to all those that pre registered from the RTTW team.
  • 06/07/2009 - More names added to the Scroll . We are now on the 3rd Scroll . Click HERE to view
  • 25/06/2009 - Details of Camping for Friday 9th October (and Saturday 10th if you want to stay ) together with photos and Google map location are now in the Updates 2009 section . Either go to Latest - Ride to the Wall 2009 or click HERE
  • 14/06/2009 - Flyer to publicise RTTW2 added to the website for download . This can be found HERE
  • 05/06/2009 - Second Scroll added . There are buttons to control the scroll on each page . The Scroll changes every 20 seconds
  • 29/05/2009 - The first Scroll of Names for those registered for 2009 added to the website.
  • 25/05/2009 - Run for the Wall , Rolling Thunder has just finished in the US . Read more HERE
  • 21/05/2009 - Registration & Merchandise areas now live . The committee thank you for your patience shown .
  • 21/05/2009 - Last year we highlighted the injustice given to Gurkha soldiers on this website. Today justice was delivered . Read more HERE

  • 18/04/2009 - Read the letter from Buckingham Palace about RTTW by clicking on the top drop down 'Latest - Ride to the Wall ...Royal Letter '
  • 02/04/2009 - New minister for Ride to the Wall 2009 . We have a fly past agreed with the RAF
  • 01/04/2009 - Camping at Drayton Manor is available for £10 Friday night . There will be a bar . More details to follow
  • 24/02/2009 - Added some more links from the Para regiment HSF and Palace Barracks Memorial Garden . Websites run by a RTTW 2008 attendee
  • 18/02/2009 - The links section has been updated with details of almost 30 more clubs whose members attended RTTW 2008 . If your club is not listed then please drop me an e mail with the website details- This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • 05/02/2009 - Added 7 videos from Mark Lewis including the full service (split into 2 parts ) . All in the Videos area
  • 02/02/2009 - Added a new section for all news relating to RTTW 2009 - We now have Start Location agreed that will be able to cope with the (expected ) numbers
  • 02/02/2009 - Added 3 more videos from Bosun and Fez (Scottish HD)
  • 20/01/2009 - Added more Regimental flags to the sections above the forum etc as requested by former members of those regiments ( RCT , Marines , Queens Regiment , Signal , Royal Anglian , Princess of Wales )
  • 03/01/2009 - Added 4 videos from Mark Akehurstof Northwood riders to the videos section
  • 02/01/2009 - Added Scottish HD , Iron Butt , Tamar Riders , Spirit of Chapel Ash ,Rainy City , Vulcan Riders , Black Spammers , West London HD, Beertown MCC and Morini Riders to Supporters of RTTW
  • 14/12/2008 - Update forum pages to show flags of the UK Armed forces
