Welcome the official launch of the Ride To The Wall
registration for voluntary contributions and online shop.

Registration for Voluntary Contributions and the online shop is now open.

We are launching later than usual this year and thank you for your patience and understanding.

The ever increasing scale of the event and the complexities associated with organizing Ride To The Wall has forced us to undertake a total review of all aspects associated with the Ride To The Wall, all of which has taken considerable time.

As I mentioned in the previous newsletter we are now a registered charity. The new structure will allow more effective operations and will enhance our fund raising capabilities, in particular through the use of the gift aid scheme and I would urge you to make full use of the gift aid scheme as it will increase the value of your contributions significantly.

The recommended voluntary contribution for 2011 will be £7.50. You will receive a year bar for 2011 and your name will be entered in the scroll of honour recognising the contribution you have made and the pride and respect that you show for the sacrifice made by the names on the wall.

Following feedback from numerous participants in Ride To The Wall our range of merchandising has been enhanced with numerous additions for 2011 including items for children. We have also introduced a new design based on the Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum which we have incorporated into items in the 2011 range.

We continue to focus on offering quality products at affordable prices and have worked hard with our suppliers to face the challenges of increased costs in raw materials, the rise in VAT and the rise in postage costs. I am pleased to say that we have not made any significant increases.

In closing, I'd like to once again say a huge thank you for all your support and patience. I look forward to seeing you on 1st October 2011 at this year's event where we will ride to remember those who can no longer ride by our side.
